Aleatoriedade, humor e reflexões a respeito da vida cotidiana e suas singularidades: talvez esses sejam pontos chaves do Grupo de Interferência Ambiental - GIA, coletivo artístico que foge a qualquer tentativa de definição.
Randomness, humor and reflections about the daily life and its singularities: perhaps these are key points of the Group of Ambiental Interference - GIA, artistic collective that avoids any attempt at definition. The group is formed by designers and visual artists, who have in common, besides friendship, an admiration for contemporary artistic languages and its plurality, specifically those related to the art and public space. It can be said that the practices of the GIA drank at the fountain of conceptual art, in which the status of the art work as a commodity is denied, in favor of an ephemeral and process art, looking for a reconfiguration of the relation between the artist , the work and the public. One of the main purposes of the group is using the resources that allow achieve an increasing number of people who are invited to leave their spectators condition and become active participants of the works, attacking the public space. Thus, the actions of GIA intend to argue the conditions in which people live with the elements of their environment to produce social meanings. And these meanings are also in process, according to John Cage "the world, in fact, is not an object, is a process." GIA, therefore, is willing to question social conventions, through concrete practices that are infiltrated in little transgretions . The aesthetic GIA, based on simplicity and irony, intends to show that art is inextricably linked to life.
O que é isso
Acreditamos que para cada coisa que se faz existe uma forma de fazer diferente.
Em outro projeto definimos: “(...)é resultado de um método que o grupo desenvolveu para a execução de seus trabalhos, conservando sempre determinadas características originais (divididas em estrutura material e tática) aliadas à capacidade de experimentar e adaptá-las a novas imposições e possibilidades dos diferentes contextos(...)”.
Neste blog, disponibilizamos um pouco de nosso modo de fazer. Pois é, vamos fazer algo parecido com o Caramujo, com o Escritório, com o QG (todos, conjuntos de ações já executados pelo grupo), ou seja, as coisas são construídas através de processos e aqui apresentamos um pouco do nosso. Disto pode-se extrair tecnologias que podem ser recombinadas indefinidamente.
Este mesmo blog está sendo utilizado para nos comunicarmos com a organização do Nan June Paik Award, ele faz parte deste conjunto quase indefinível de atividades e é nosso projeto também. E correspondendo ao que a linguagem dos blogs permite, pode mudar e ser somado a todo instante.
Pretendemos viajar para Colônia, na Alemanha, perceber a cidade, coletar materiais e construir um ambiente dentro do espaço do museu WRM. O que exatamente acontecerá, quais ações serão realizadas, não temos precisão ainda, descobrir isso é parte do processo.
Precisamos chegar e perceber o espaço. Para dialogar com o público local levaremos duas “ferramentas de aglutinação social” (hehehe)... o “Carrinho” e a “Caixa”. Mais informações sobre eles podem ser encontradas entre as postagens.
